PrimaModus® is led by Marc Hornbeek, a.k.a. DevOps_The_Gray—an award-winning engineer, author, educator, and consultant with five decades of experience in systems engineering, software development, behavioral simulation, testing, automation, DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, and platform engineering. Throughout his career, Marc has designed complex systems, developed and applied simulation methods, and created software tools that help engineers understand behavior, automate difficult work, and identify problems earlier in the lifecycle. He is the originator of Simulation-Driven Software Engineering (SDSE) and leads the development of the Behavior Simulation Notation (BSN) and BSN Workbench.

Marc is also the author of several influential engineering books and received the IEEE Region 6 Outstanding Engineer Award in 2016. PrimaModus brings this experience together to help organizations model, simulate, validate, and engineer software that behaves as intended.
